This is an original acrylic painting. It measures 9x12" and is gallery wrapped. No frame is required.Each painting comes with a storycard that that gives an explanation of the subject. The paintings are very dimensional due to the mixed media technique I use. I start with a palette knife and modeling paste, when the base of my painting is built up I paint the entire canvas a dark blue. Then I begin the actual painting of the canvas in acrylic paints. They are all individually painted and thus every one os a little different. They look great hung in small groupings.

Clochans, were built from corbelled
dry stone and were inhabited by
farming communities probably
in the 12th century by native Irish
fleeing from the Norman Invasion.
