Oval Sterling Silver Celtic Pendant set with Malachite.

This is an impressive piece measuring 0.8 inches long and 0.6 inches wide. The stone appears to be held in place by shamrocks. Hallmarked in the assay office in Dublin Castle, made in Ireland. About Malachite: Malachite is an opaque green stone with lots of character. It was used in ancient times to create ink dyes (although it will not lose any colour whatsoever in this form) and was actually used to create the green colours in the Book of Kells.
